Our Story: A Commitment to Compassionate Memory Care

Acorn Oaks Manor was founded on a simple, powerful belief: individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia deserve to live with dignity, safety, and joy in a place that feels like home.

Our journey began with the vision to create a specialized residential care campus in San Diego's College Area—a true alternative to institutional settings. We saw the need for a nurturing environment designed specifically for the unique challenges of memory loss.

This commitment led us to develop our unique four-home campus on a peaceful half-acre property. Each home was carefully planned to provide a secure, comfortable, and familiar residential setting where residents can thrive with 24-hour dedicated care.

Our mission is unwavering: to provide expert, compassionate Alzheimer's and dementia care that supports not only our residents but also their families. We grow and adapt our practices to offer the most current, person-centered memory care services, ensuring every day at Acorn Oaks Manor is filled with purpose and connection.

A Home, Not Just a Facility

Acorn Oaks Manor is designed as a true residential campus, offering a secure and comforting environment for our residents. Our four homes on a serene half-acre property in San Diego's College Area provide the warmth and familiarity of a neighborhood setting, which is especially beneficial for individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia.

Four Residential Homes

Our unique campus consists of four distinct homes, each fostering a small, family-like atmosphere. This intimate scale reduces overstimulation and allows for personalized care and stronger caregiver-resident relationships.

Secure & Safe Environment

The entire half-acre property is secured and monitored, featuring safe walking paths, enclosed outdoor spaces, and 24-hour supervision. We utilize specialized safety measures designed specifically for memory care to ensure peace of mind for families.

Amenities for Comfort

Residents enjoy shared community areas, tranquil gardens, and comfortable living spaces. The residential setting encourages social interaction, engagement with nature, and participation in daily life activities, all within a safe and supportive framework.

Seeing is believing. We invite you to experience the difference our residential campus makes.
